Sometimes you just have to stop everything and help someone. Words can wait- death cannot. Pens and ink spots will always be there when you come back home. When you get the urge, go for it.
Ditto was in his study as usual reading up on history. The plip plop of water dripping of the desk could be heard, along with the mutter and grumble which came from the young man, who, with a quick motion of his hand, wiped the water off the floor and went back to the book his was reading. His room was filled with books, with a desk in the middle covered in papers, ink, roses, and law books. Shelves of books covered all for walls, leaving a space for a small window which brought in most of the light. There was a couple candles here and there, and there was few noices in the room. A perfect atmosphere for a person like Ditto. He spent half his time there, studying and preparing for cases. Yep- Ditto was a lawyer. One of the best, actually because it was rare that he lost a case. What he failed at though was a social life. Who needs a social life when you can get rich? Ditto knew that he paid heavily for being on top.
He prayed that Gigi, his wife, wouldn’t leave him. She was so beautiful, like a angel from heaven above. She was sweet and precious to him. Rayzal was a wonderful little girl too… he would be lost without them both. He would give away all his money to keep them close for eternity. He just wished he didn’t screw up all the time. He also wished his life was different- but even wishes can be useless at times.
Ditto sighed as he looked up from the yellow paged book and peered ou the window, sighing. It was the afternoon. Ditto stood up from his chair and walked out of the study and into the kitchen. “Hey honey? Were did you put those leftovers?” Ditto searced the kitchen for food- he was hungry and it was right about time that he should eat. He looked around and smiled as he noticed Rayzal playing with some blocks. He found some food and started to eat it, wondering where Gigi might be. Probably taking a nap. Rayzal had that “Monsters are coming to get me”freak out the night before and it had been her turn. Ditto yawned as he ate up his food and grabbed the spare house key. “Honey? I am going for a walk!” Ditto called loudly as he left the house, shutting the door behind him. He walked down the village streets, like he had done many times before. He didn’t get a client yet today- it was a little odd. Maybe he wasn’t needed today? He chuckled quietly. He seemed to always be needed for something these days.
Ditto walked calmly and silently, with a content expression. He was wearing casual clothing- it was just a stroll. He didn’t care where he ended up… he usually get into trouble. Usually, mind you. Ditto sighed as he ended up near the palace and looked around. He scratched the back of his head and then put both of his hands in his pockets, walking around like he hadn’t a care in the world. The day was nice, peaceful, and he didn’t see a cloud in the sky. The birds were singing here and there, and the sun was beating down, lighting up the would and scattering shadows. Ditto grinned and walked around, hoping he would run into anyone who wanted trouble, or worse- make him go away from the palace. He walked around without a destination and without an errand to do, which was a nice thing about taking a walk. He was able to relax.
Go figure.
